Sustainability Training is currently the only accredited delivery centre for the National Examination Board in Occupational Safety & Health (NEBOSH) in Australia.

This international general certificate (IGC) is designed to provide a broad introduction to health and safety fundamentals for non-specialist managers, supervisors or workers.

It will also benefit multinational companies working to international standards who are seeking to implement good health and safety management across all areas of their operation.

This program is ideal for oil and gas workers, but provides a solid base of knowledge for all industries.

Course Content Breakdown

The study program covers a range of workplace hazards and methods of control, and focuses on international standards for safety and health management.

The program is divided into three units:

Examination is completed in three parts:

1. Written exam for those elements covered under IGC1
2. Written exam for those elements covered under IGC2
3. Practical assessment

NEBOSH Terms and Conditions for Students

Recognition

Participants who successfully complete and pass assessment for this program will be issued with an International General Certificate of Occupational Safety & Health.

This is a vocational qualification that is recognised internationally and can be used in any industry.
